To begin you need to be logged into your QuickBooks Accountant.
You can tell you’re logged into QBOA when you see YOUR PRACTICE towards the top of the menu on the left. The menu will also be a lighter gray color.
Click the gear icon in the upper right corner.
Then click Subscriptions and billing in the YOUR COMPANY column.
From here you’ll see the subscriptions that are billed on your account.
Transfer Billing to Client
I have a demo account that I created for a course. I’ll this to show you how to transfer the billing to your client.
Click the drop-down arrow to the right of Client actions. Then select Transfer billing to client.
You’ll see a page title Before you continue, read this.
It lets you know billing will be transferred to the client. You’ll get a partial credit. The client’s payment information needs to be added to their QBO account.
Click Confirm transfer when ready.
The Subscriptions and billing screen will now show In progress in the PRICE column for that client.
Client Side
When I log into the demo QBO account and go to billing it says the subscription has been cancelled.
To continue using QBO the client needs to click the Resubscribe button and enter their billing information.
