Create a Sales Receipt in QuickBooks Online

For some businesses they need to track customer purchases that are paid for immediately, to do this a sales receipt is used.  (An invoice is used for purchases the client will pay for later.)  These instructions will help you do this within QuickBooks Online.

Entering a Sales Receipt

  1. Click on the quick-create (plus sign) in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Click on sales receipt under the column of customers.
  3. Fill in the sales receipt screen
